How the atlas is made.

Where the data comes fromNames, altitudes and road surface come from OpenStreetMap: for each pass we look for the crossing on a road open to traffic, above 1,000 metres, in the Italian, Swiss and Austrian Alps (the Swiss Jura and the Austrian uplands north of the Danube are not included).
Our layerThe passes on our routes have their own guide; tolls and regulated access come from the operators' websites, checked in 2026.
Your passportTap a pass and mark it with ✓ or ☆: it shows up in “The next pass is…™”, saved only on your phone.
Before you goA pass in the atlas is not automatically open or rideable by motorbike: always check the season, local rules and weather. Passes open and closed → · The passes in numbers →
