About me.
I'm Edoardo and I have been riding the Dolomites and the Alps for over 25 years: more than 300,000 km of bends, one pass after another. Dolomiti Experiences grew out of that.

My name is Edoardo, I have skied since I was a boy and for about twenty years I have spent my free time in Val Gardena, in winter too. For me skiing is not technique for its own sake: it is the best way to explore landscapes and views, from one valley to the next. The Dolomiti Experiences ski safaris start from here.

Twenty-five years of passes
In over 25 years I have ridden more than 300,000 km across the Dolomites and the Alps. I have ridden all kinds of bikes – Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ducati, KTM, BMW and Husqvarna – and today I ride a BMW R 1300 GS Adventure and a KTM Super Duke GT.
Val Gardena, out of passion
I discovered Val Gardena about twenty years ago and since then it is where I spend my free time, in every season. It is not my job: it is my passion. Knowing a valley in summer and winter, in sun and snow, is what lets me recommend the right road at the right time.
Why Dolomiti Experiences
Local knowledge. Perfect timing. The routes on this site are the ones I would recommend to a friend: for each one you get the passes, altitudes, riding time, difficulty and the best time to go.
Guided rides
From the 2027 season I will lead small groups, six bikes at most, on the routes I know best. The waiting list is open.
Skiing to explore
I have skied since I was a boy and I especially love groomed runs, the ones you can enjoy all the way down while looking around. Every safari is built that way: a journey on skis through valleys, passes and views, not a race.
Val Gardena, out of passion
I discovered Val Gardena about twenty years ago and it has been where I spend my free time ever since. It is not my job: it is my passion. In winter I start from Dantercepies, in Selva, and link valleys and ski areas with my skis on.
The right moment
Knowing a valley means knowing which lift to take before the queue builds up, which run is in the sun at what time and where the snow holds best in the afternoon. That is what I bring to every safari.
My favourite runs
The Ciampinoi 3, the Cir, the Gran Risa, the Fodoma and the Longia: runs I know turn by turn and that you will find along the safaris.
My favourite huts
The Sofie Hütte on the Seceda, Fienile Monte below the Col Rodella, Piz Seteur at Plan de Gralba, Ütia Bamby in Alta Badia and Baita Miara on the Sella Pass: the places I love to stop at. Along the way I recommend where to have breakfast, lunch and après-ski, and when to arrive to get a table.
Guided ski safaris
Ten safaris from Val Gardena, for intermediate and expert skiers, in groups of 3 to 8. I design and organise them, and on the slopes you are accompanied by a ski instructor or a mountain guide; ski pass, rental and accommodation are up to you.
