Black in Black™: ski safari.

In short

Every black run in Val Gardena in a single day, from the World Cup Saslong to the lesser-known walls only locals know how to find. Real gradients, lots of vertical and little transfer: experts with trained legs only. It is about 35 km of pistes, for expert skiers.

The ski areas.

The safari stays within the Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi ski area: the area's own ski pass is enough, or Dolomiti Superski.

Before you go.

  • The day before, check which lifts and runs are open on the ski area's website or app: wind and snow can close a link.
  • Start with the first lifts: a safari only works if you reach the last lift before it closes.
  • On the slopes always follow the signs and the ski area's rules; altitudes and routes on this page are indicative.

With Dolomiti Experiences This is one of the 10 safaris Dolomiti Experiences organises in small groups of 3 to 8 skiers, starting from Val Gardena, from December to April. We are in a test phase: ask for dates and I will write when they open.
