What it is like to ride.

It is a quiet pass, with little traffic compared with the big Dolomite passes. The road is narrow in places but well kept; the Luson side is steeper and more demanding. From Bressanone you reach it over the Eores Pass, about 3 km west of the top. It is closed in winter, when the road becomes a cross-country ski trail.
