Fedaia Pass by motorbike.
In short
The Fedaia Pass (2,057 m) links Val di Fassa (Canazei and Penia) with the Agordino and Malga Ciapela. The road runs past the reservoir and its dam at the foot of the Marmolada, the highest mountain in the Dolomites.
Updated October 2026What it is like to ride.

From Canazei the climb is steady and leads to the lake, which you ride along on the dam and the shore. The Veneto side towards Malga Ciapela is much steeper, with long straight ramps: on the way down, good brakes and care are essential.
What to see.
From the dam you see the north face and the glacier of the Marmolada; Lake Fedaia is one of the most photographed spots in the Dolomites. The cable car to Punta Rocca leaves from Malga Ciapela.
