What it is like to ride.

The Sella Pass seen from the motorbike

From Val Gardena you climb from Plan de Gralba on wide, well-kept hairpins; on the Canazei side the road branches off the Pordoi road and climbs through woods and meadows. Summer traffic is heavy: early morning and evening are the best times.

What to see.

At the top you have the Sassolungo wall, the Sella Towers and, just below, the Città dei Sassi, a jumble of boulders fallen from the Sassolungo where you can stop for a short walk.
